When this film released, and I specifically remember this, it was advertised just about everywhere, whether online or especially on televisions and movie theater screens. It was so marketed that it was a pretty big shock that it wouldn’t be until recently that I finally got around to watching it. Ironically, the message it puts out from 2008 fits almost better now than it did back then (but it was still highly relevant when it launched). How do I feel about this great Studio Ghibli anime film, though?
Of course, it’s a great quality anime film. Art design is insane and simply breathtaking, the background themes are awesome, and the hint of an environmental message was good to see.
